Chapter 0: Timeline
At the age of one, Crane Wind was born on the Bright Star in the celestial domains of Angel Civilization. Due to constant warfare among the lords, Crane Wind’s parents perished in the chaos. Half a day later, their bodies were discovered and brought back to Angel City by the renowned explorer Crane Zhangliang. In that same year, Keisha and Hua Ye were also born.
At five years old, Crane Wind met Keisha in the junior division of the Angel Academy. The two grew up together as childhood companions.
By eighteen, after many years together, Crane Wind and Keisha fell in love within the halls of the Angel Academy in Angel City.
At one hundred, Crane Wind and Keisha pledged their love to each other amid the hills of Love Mountain on the Immortal Star, sealing their vows with a kiss. They united a few years later.
At two thousand, seeking to elevate his status and obtain super genes and resources, Crane Wind joined the Angel Legion. That same year, Crane Xi was born in Angel City.
At two thousand and three, Crane Wind’s adoptive father, Crane Zhangliang, died during an expedition, leaving a recorded message urging Crane Wind to care for his younger sister, Crane Xi. Thus, Crane Wind raised three-year-old Crane Xi alone, the siblings relying on each other for survival.
At two thousand five hundred, Crane Wind participated in the Angel Arena Grand Tournament, held once every two thousand years in Angel City. He emerged undefeated, claiming the championship of the first-generation super warriors. His reward was the second-generation super warrior upgrade gene and the Dominance Sword. Crane Wind ascended as a second-generation super warrior and gained fame throughout Angel City.
At three thousand, Crane Wind traveled to the Duchy of Hoffman and became engaged to Keisha, the duke's eldest daughter. Hope for the future filled his heart.
At four thousand, the Angel King Hua Que passed away, and Hua Ye ascended as the new king. Disfavoring the old ministers of the previous reign, Hua Ye promoted emerging commanders. Sumali and Crane Wind gained Hua Ye’s favor.
At four thousand one hundred, the “Great Unification War” erupted because Hua Ye, driven by ambition, was dissatisfied with the lords’ excessive power; they often waged wars without consent and ignored royal orders. Hua Ye resolved to launch a campaign to unify Angel Civilization.
At five thousand one hundred, Crane Wind advanced to commander of the Angel Legion through military merit. Hua Ye granted him third-generation super warrior genes, elevating Crane Wind to the third generation.
At five thousand two hundred, due to years spent campaigning abroad and political differences regarding the order of the Celestial Palace—and his personal beliefs on maintaining that order—Crane Wind and Keisha broke off their engagement after a heated quarrel, parting ways and ending their relationship.
At six thousand two hundred, during the later stages of the Great Unification War, Crane Wind, acting on Hua Ye’s command, led one hundred thousand troops to attack the Duchy of Hoffman, which fielded two hundred thousand soldiers. Employing bold and imaginative tactics, Crane Wind’s legion swept through the duchy, capturing Duke Hoffman and his former lover Keisha, and handed them over to Hua Ye’s direct escort troops for transport to Angel City. Three months later, Hoffman’s second daughter, Cold Ice, borrowed troops from other lords and launched a surprise assault on the escort, rescuing only her sister Keisha.
At six thousand four hundred, Keisha and her younger sister Cold Ice raised the banner of “Justice, Freedom, and Resistance to Oppression,” initiating the “Merlot Uprising” on Merlot Star.
At six thousand five hundred, the allied lords’ army of two million attacked the Angel territory’s Tianwang Mountain Fortress. The “Battle of Tianwang Mountain” erupted. With only one hundred thousand troops, Crane Wind launched a frontal assault on the allied forces, slaying their leader—the most powerful lord, King Tiansha. The Celestial Palace achieved a great victory, and Crane Wind’s reputation thundered across Angel Civilization. He was bestowed the title “God of War.”
At six thousand nine hundred, Crane Xi, the youngest-ever director of the Angel Research Institute, experienced an awakening and joined the Merlot Uprising Army.
At seven thousand one hundred, the Great Unification War ended. All lords were eliminated, and Hua Ye, King of the Celestial Palace, succeeded in expanding his territory fivefold.
At seven thousand five hundred, the “War of Opposition” between male and female angels broke out.
At ten thousand five hundred, the “Battle of the Furious Sea” erupted.
