It is time for the customary year-end rambling segment.
First, let me give you a quick health update. I am still coughing, dealing with phlegm, dizziness, and fatigue, along with a bit of chest tightness and brain fog. I am planning to head to the hospital to check if there is any secondary infection.
COVID-19 takes a massive toll on writers who rely on high-intensity brainwork. Having a muddy, fogged-up brain seriously disrupts my workflow.
I have already seen peers getting reinfected, so everyone please take good care of yourselves and stay safe.
The calendar is merely a set of notches humanity carved into the fabric of time. When the clock strikes midnight tonight, will tomorrow usher in a brand-new world? Nobody knows, but we certainly hope so.
Finally, at the intersection of this fading year and the dawn of a new one, I wish you all the best.
