Chapter Eighty-Five
Yi Yu naturally did not agree to let You Hanzhe come find him. No matter how much he wanted to see You Hanzhe, he would never be so reckless as to manipulate You Hanzhe’s time. While he didn’t fully understand You Hanzhe’s identity, he could sense that You Hanzhe was a businessman whose work schedule was extremely tight.
Even though Yi Yu tried to persuade him, You Hanzhe came anyway.
It was two days later, at noon.
At the airport.
Yi Yu felt guilty for making things difficult for You Hanzhe, but the moment he saw him at the airport, he couldn’t contain his joy. He ran from afar, threw himself into You Hanzhe’s arms, and, ignoring the strange looks from people around, planted an excited kiss on You Hanzhe’s cheek.
You Hanzhe gently placed a hand on Yi Yu’s waist, saying nothing, while the other hand tenderly stroked Yi Yu’s hair.
Yi Yu released him but kept both hands extended on You Hanzhe’s shoulders, revealing a set of gleaming white teeth. “A day without you feels like three years—how many years has it been since we last saw each other?”
You Hanzhe’s expression was warm, but he answered with mock seriousness, “If you count it that way, then it truly has been many years.”
“You’re improving—now you know how to be humorous.”
Yi Yu wrapped himself around You Hanzhe’s arm, smiling. “It’s lunchtime. Let’s go eat together, then afterwards let’s soak in the hot springs. I’ve been wanting to do that with you for ages, hehe…” Yi Yu lowered his voice in a mischievous whisper, “I just love seeing you without clothes.”
You Hanzhe’s expression didn’t change, but he indulgently ruffled Yi Yu’s hair.
You Hanzhe instructed his bodyguards and assistant to head to the hotel and not to follow him. Then he got in Yi Yu’s car and went to the restaurant.
“Tomorrow at noon, I’ll take you to meet my parents. My brother happens to be in town these days as well.”
“All right.”
“But my brother said he might return this afternoon. Hold on, let me call him and ask him to stay another day for your sake.” As Yi Yu spoke, he pulled out his phone, laughing. “It’s such a coincidence—my brother’s crush also has the surname You.”
You Hanzhe poured wine for Yi Yu, and responded casually, “That is quite the coincidence, because my younger brother’s partner happens to share your surname.”
“You have a brother, too? I’ve never heard you mention him. Hehe, is he as tempting as you?” At that moment, the phone connected, and Yi Yu quickly said, “Hey, bro, I want to discuss something… The boyfriend I mentioned to you and Mom and Dad before, he’s come to V City to see me, and he’s with me now. I want to bring him home at noon tomorrow. Can you stay another day?”
“Of course,” Yi Xiaoyu answered readily.
After lunch, Yi Yu and You Hanzhe sat together on a park bench. Yi Yu leaned against him, resting his head on You Hanzhe’s shoulder, his hands clasping You Hanzhe’s right hand and gently touching his slender, elegant fingers. “Hanzhe, your fingers are so beautiful. Your handwriting must be pretty, too. Write a couple of words for me.”
A faint curve appeared at the corner of You Hanzhe’s lips—a barely perceptible smile gracing his usually stern and reserved face. Anyone watching him would sense a cool yet gentle aura emanating from him, drawing them in without realizing it.
You Hanzhe took a deep black fountain pen from his suit pocket and asked, “Where should I write?”
Yi Yu hadn’t expected him to actually produce a pen, and after his surprise came delight. He stretched out his hand, palm open before You Hanzhe, laughing brightly. “Write here.”
You Hanzhe elegantly removed the pen cap, then gently took Yi Yu’s hand. The pen tip touched Yi Yu’s palm, carefully writing two names in two lines: “Yi Yu” and “You Hanzhe.”
The script was neat and graceful, with sharp angles and not a single hesitation.
Looking at the two names in his palm, Yi Yu felt a warm and tingling sensation in his heart. He pressed his lips together, took the pen from You Hanzhe, and drew a heart around the names, enclosing them perfectly.
“OK, now it’s complete.”
You Hanzhe gazed at the heart framing their names in Yi Yu’s palm, lost in thought for four or five seconds. Then, suddenly, he reached out, took hold of Yi Yu’s chin, and leaned in for a kiss.
Yi Yu never expected this seemingly refined and restrained man to suddenly take the initiative. The feeling was simply—
Simply exhilarating!
