5. "Star Wars"! It's confirmed!

Tang Xiao had been completely absorbed in the documents. These files quickly merged with the knowledge previously implanted in his mind, beginning to crystallize into his own understanding. However, reading documents was not enough; the most important thing was to put that knowledge into practice.

"Mainframe, I am preparing to go down to the surface of Dawn Planet for an inspection. Please make the arrangements," Tang Xiao said, closing the screen before him.

[Understood, Administrator. Additionally, it is recommended that you take your personal bodyguard when operating outside the ship.]

"I have a personal bodyguard? Send him over," Tang Xiao said, intrigued.

The bridge doors opened, and a burly figure stepped in. He wore a military uniform, possessing a classic inverted-triangle physique and that familiar, iron-willed face. Upon seeing the bodyguard, Tang Xiao stood up involuntarily, his mouth agape. "This... you... you can't be..."

"Starting today, I will serve as your personal bodyguard. You may refer to me as T-850," the man said, his legs standing straight as a compass, hands clasped behind his back, his voice gravelly and resonant.

"You're a Terminator?!" Tang Xiao was dumbfounded. Although the military uniform didn't quite match the style he associated with this figure, this was unmistakably Arnold Schwarzenegger!

"I am a T-850 series combat robot. The term 'Terminator' is not within my database. Please clarify," the T-850 said, standing perfectly still with rigid posture.

"Mainframe, I need an explanation."

[The T-850 is a robotic bodyguard assigned to you, Administrator. Its database contains data on various tasks involving the protection of important personnel and combat in diverse environments, ensuring it can complete its missions perfectly.]

"No, I mean, where did this robot come from?"

[There is no source information on file. The T-850 was stored in the mothership's cargo hold specifically to serve as a bodyguard for you and other key personnel. If required, the mothership’s manufacturing plant can produce more T-850 units.]

Tang Xiao looked at the face he had seen countless times on screen and nodded. "Grab your weapons and come with me."

...

The transport ship touched down on the leveled landing pad on Dawn Planet. As Tang Xiao and the T-850 disembarked, workers immediately began unloading supplies. These workers were equipped with mechanized exoskeletons; as they were industrial tools, they consisted primarily of limb attachments, but they were fitted with various instruments capable of handling diverse engineering tasks and carrying loads of up to 500kg.

The colony's construction was already taking shape. Over a dozen two-story residential buildings had been erected, and supporting facilities were under construction. Tang Xiao even saw some residents setting up open-air hydroponic equipment by the lake to begin cultivating crops.

Whenever the residents saw Tang Xiao, they would bow respectfully and greet him warmly.

"Greetings, Administrator. I am Graham, a management major. Following your appointment, I am now the mayor of this colony," a young man with brown hair approached, shaking Tang Xiao's hand with excitement. "I was sent down immediately after my appointment, so I didn't get to meet you in person. I was just lamenting that when you actually came down for an inspection yourself—this is wonderful!"

Tang Xiao patted his shoulder encouragingly. "I will continue to monitor the colony's progress. If you have any issues, feel free to report to me at any time."

"It is my honor! You gave me the opportunity to board the mothership and entrusted me with such a heavy responsibility; I have no way to repay you!" Graham was incredibly moved, though he quickly regained his composure. "By the way, Administrator, during our construction, we discovered some native creatures. They appear to be sentient. How should we handle them?"

"Native indigenous people?" Tang Xiao frowned.

"Look, over there," Graham pointed toward the edge of a forest, where faint figures could indeed be seen moving about.

Tang Xiao raised his binoculars. He saw creatures that looked like upright little bears, about a meter tall, draped in animal skins and holding stone spears. They were pointing at the site with great curiosity. Some were cheering and jumping at the transport ships passing overhead, and a few were even kneeling and kowtowing.

His heart went cold, and the smile faded from his face. Having been a devoted fan of the *Star Wars* franchise, Tang Xiao recognized these aliens immediately.

"Ewoks... they really are Ewoks..." he muttered.

No wonder this planet felt so familiar—nine planets, not orbiting a star, but orbiting a gas giant. It was a unique configuration. It turned out that before he named it Dawn Planet, its proper name was Endor—the planet Endor!

The reason he knew this was that Endor was one of the most famous planets in *Star Wars*. In the film *Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi*, Endor was the main battlefield between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance!

If that was the case, then this was confirmed to be the *Star Wars* universe!

It really was *Star Wars*... Tang Xiao sighed, clutching his forehead. It seemed he now had to worry about the arrival of Star Destroyers. His current assets were nothing in this world; although the Kushan mothership was massive, it was merely a civilian vessel for colonization.

The question now was, what was the current era? There were no signs of war wreckage in the space around Endor, suggesting that the war leading to the fall of the Galactic Empire had not yet begun. But before that war, countless events had occurred in this universe: several wars, the fall of the Galactic Republic, the rise and division of the Galactic Empire...

In short, this was a galaxy filled with the flames of war.

He thought for a moment and said to Graham, "Notify the mothership to send down a few crates of candy and some heavy machine guns on the next transport. These natives are not very aggressive; you can cautiously make contact and use the candy to build a friendly relationship, but at the same time, strengthen defenses and build a few guard towers around the perimeter."

"Understood, Administrator. I will see to it immediately," Graham replied.

Tang Xiao patted his shoulder again. "Keep it up, Graham. Being a village mayor is just the beginning. I look forward to the day you become a town mayor, a city mayor, and a governor."

"Yes! I will work hard!" Graham's eyes brightened. He snapped to attention, saluted, and then set to work with 200% energy. He grabbed a large crate and, without the help of his exoskeleton, ran all the way to the wind power station under construction to join the bustling effort.

Tang Xiao finally breathed a sigh of relief. He walked forward a few steps, gazing at the lush, pristine world before him.

The murmuring water, the mirror-like surface of the lake, flocks of unknown birds streaking across the sky, herds of startled animals galloping across the plains, with predators following close behind, waiting for an opportunity. In the distance, he could see towering giant trees and endless, overlapping mountain ranges. A thin layer of dark clouds was gathering in the sky; a light rain would likely fall soon.

If not for the strange flora and fauna, Tang Xiao felt as if he were standing on the African savanna in spring. This vibrant world finally dispelled the gloom in his heart, and he couldn't help but take a deep breath...

...

"Administrator!"

"Administrator! Wake up! Wake up!!" Anxious voices stirred Tang Xiao. He realized he had fallen asleep—had he been sleeping while standing up?!

"What's..." Before Tang Xiao could finish, he heard a series of *bang-bang-bang* sounds. A dozen crates around him had fallen from mid-air to the ground, their contents scattered everywhere.

"What happened?" He quickly turned to ask the T-850, who had been standing beside him the entire time.

"The objects around you suddenly floated uncontrollably, yet your physical condition remained completely normal, as if you were asleep," the T-850 replied simply.

"I was sleeping standing up? And the things around me floated?" Tang Xiao looked at Graham, who was nearby, and turned to ask him.

"Yes, we didn't dare to approach. Your bodyguard said your vital signs were normal, so we didn't risk getting any closer," Graham said, still looking shaken.

"What is this? Oxygen intoxication? Or..." Tang Xiao felt a sudden shock. A possibility occurred to him, but he needed further confirmation. He nodded and said, "Forget it. I'll take the next transport ship back to the mothership. Have a thorough physical examination done on me."

[Administrator, I apologize for the interruption, but there is an urgent message that requires your immediate decision. Just moments ago, the mothership intercepted a hyperspace communication sent from Dawn Planet.] The Mainframe's voice suddenly came through his communicator.
