With a simple magic trick, Li Lekang managed to fill the young woman’s heart with pride and raise the guests’ expectations, making the atmosphere of the party beyond words. Any little game played by a celebrity is enough to draw cheers from the crowd, and he, without the slightest air of stardom, joined their games and interactions. The birthday girl certainly had her moment of glory.

The celebration continued in high spirits late into the night. After most guests had left, Li Lekang finally bid everyone goodnight. Chloe walked him to the door and hugged him.

She said happily, “Thank you for all this. I’ve never felt so content; this birthday will be a beautiful memory for me.”

“Next year will be even better,” Li Lekang promised her.

She brightened at once. “Right! Next year, you’ll be even more famous—maybe known all over the world. I’ll be eighteen then. Oh, that would be amazing!”

Li Lekang laughed, pinched her cheek affectionately, and said, “It will all come. But it’s late now, go get some sleep. We’ll go out together another day!”

“Deal!” She hugged him joyfully. “Goodnight!”

“Goodnight, sweetheart!”

Waving goodbye, Li Lekang got into the car sent by the Saintly Sisters to pick him up.

Exhausted from the festivities, he returned to the Saints’ manor. After a night of sweet dreams, morning sunlight streamed through the curtains. He stretched lazily, took a shower, dressed, and went down for breakfast.

It was his first night at the manor. After breakfast, he learned that the Sisters and other staff were attending morning prayers at the chapel. Curious, he made his way to the small chapel on the right side of the house.

The chapel’s ceiling rose six or seven meters high. Sunlight poured through stained glass, filling the space with vibrant colors. Setting aside thoughts of religious dogma, the atmosphere was one of serene detachment.

About twenty people were present, men and women alike, all members of the Saintly organization—more precisely, people assigned to attend to Li Lekang’s needs.

Arriving a bit late, Li Lekang didn’t disturb anyone. He sat quietly in the back, observing.

When prayers ended, everyone greeted the priest and then dispersed—some to clean, others to tend the grounds, the gardener with his shears, the chef preparing special dishes to please the Father.

Li Lekang maintained the stance of a bystander, quietly witnessing their routines.

He was genuinely interested in the daily life of his Sisterhood.

So he said, “Just pretend I’m not here. Go about your usual routines.”

“As you normally do, so shall you do today.”

His five Sisters, following their schedule, headed to the shooting range. Shedding their black habits, they changed into training attire and began practicing American martial arts.

Here, the ordinary image of the nun was left behind. The rigorous exercise required cool, minimal clothing—tank tops and shorts—guns and roses, smoke and fire.

Three-gun shooting, CQB drills, firing semi-automatics at machine-gun speeds—each was as fierce as a female John Wick, their accuracy forged in sweat and effort!

Li Lekang could only marvel at the bullet-ridden targets: American martial arts truly deserved their reputation.

Training ended just in time for lunch, a communal meal. The chef had prepared a refined dish especially for the revered Father, but Li Lekang chose to eat with everyone else.

The meal was nutritious and abundant: steak, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products—every luxury, reflecting the group’s wealth and generosity toward their staff.

Lunchtime was also a period of leisure, filled with conversation and news. Li Lekang chatted with Olivia about the work of the Western Diocese.

He had long promised to help Steyr rise within the ranks, especially in showcasing the Messiah’s miracles. Yet, since their last meeting in Las Vegas, there had been no further developments.

Enjoying the many benefits bestowed by the Saints, Li Lekang decided to bring up the matter.

Olivia answered candidly, “Bishop Steyr has been busy with organizational work across several states, making personnel changes. He may need some time before returning.”

Li Lekang guessed that Steyr needed time to consolidate his authority, so he wasn’t impatient. “Let him contact me when he’s ready.”

Olivia nodded, then hesitated. Sensing this, Li Lekang smiled. “If there’s anything you want to say, you can tell me.”

Looking into his eyes, Olivia made her decision. “When Bishop Steyr assigned me to lead the Sisterhood by your side, he also gave me a confidential task.”

“He wanted me to observe your personality, preferences, lifestyle, and social circles, and report back. But I believe his intentions are good.”

“Then why are you telling me this?” Li Lekang asked.

Olivia lowered her head slightly. “I feel a sacred power within you. My upbringing taught me that people can make mistakes, but true understanding never errs. I trust my inner voice.”

But, my dear, you’ve placed your faith in the wrong god… Li Lekang thought to himself.

Yet, whether one sought the power of heaven or hell, in essence, there was little difference.

Heaven’s path was to raise the collective, while hell focused on individual strength. Humanity’s own biases, coupled with the battle over Earth’s spiritual landscape, had once given heaven the upper hand, leaving hell demonized.

Now, Earth was an unguarded realm. No one was watching, and no one competing with Li Lekang. The wonders he displayed could easily win the hearts of others.

On the faith roster kept by Juanling, Olivia was now a top-tier devotee, contributing three times daily. Her frankness came as no surprise.

Li Lekang could hardly blame her—in fact, he was quite pleased. “When you become aware of the bigger picture, you find yourself already across the test. You’ve done well.”

“Thank you, Father!” She was visibly grateful.

Li Lekang smiled, patted her lightly on the shoulder, and stood up. “Show me more of the manor.”

The house was so vast, it would take time to see it all.

Americans typically didn’t nap midday; after a short rest, the afternoon resumed.

In the afternoon, the Sisterhood left behind religion and firearms to reveal their feminine sides—dance, art, and music.

The slightly aloof Olivia was passionate about painting. Bianca, true to her Latin roots, could spin her waist with dazzling grace in Latin dance. These rich hobbies meant they could fight fiercely with guns or become gentle ladies at a moment’s notice.

Their training made them highly deceptive. Who would guess, seeing a soft smile or a delicate pose, that a Walther pistol might be hidden beneath her skirt?

At four-thirty, the Sisters began their fitness routine.

The mansion’s gym was fully equipped with professional machines. The Sisters shed their crosses, wiped off their makeup, and changed into tank tops and leggings, dedicating themselves to squats, bench presses, rowing—hormones running high!

American aesthetics were inclusive: some loved tall, slender models, others adored powerful physiques; even someone like Kardashian had countless admirers.

Li Lekang found these athletic young women a pleasure to behold, seeing the sweat behind their impressive professionalism.

He could only say: well done, ladies!

As their Father, he felt proud. With this Sisterhood at his side, he truly had face and stature.
