A Few Words on Going on Sale
After more than fifty days, this book has finally gone on sale. Though the journey was a little rough, it has ultimately reached this stage. For a newcomer, to have a first book make it onto the shelves so smoothly is already something worth being pleased with.
First of all, I must thank my chief editor, Tiger Fang, and my contracted editor, Guess Guess. This is not mere courtesy; it is sincere gratitude. For someone like me, especially a beginner with a great many questions, these two editors have truly given me a great deal of help. They have never once been impatient. No matter how late it was, as long as I asked, I always received an answer.
Even when they were on vacation, the same was true. So if this book has been able to go on sale smoothly, I truly have to thank both editors for all the help they have given me.
I also want to thank readers such as Little Peach Demon, Thirty-Year-Old Cripple, Cold Frost Chuang, Xiahou Grief, and others. When my book had no attention at all, all of you gave me tremendous encouragement. Some of you tipped, some of you cast recommendation votes; in any case, every bit of it meant a great deal to me.
Heh. For a new author, every extra recommendation vote somehow lifts the mood. Every tip brings joy for half a day, and every reader review, whether good or bad, I read carefully and reply to.
Perhaps these things seem very ordinary to you, but to me they are a form of affirmation. At the very least, they let me know that someone is reading the book I write, and that is enough.
As for updates, let me say a word about that too. I believe many people are worried that this book might be abandoned partway through, because its current results are really not very ideal.
But please rest assured: I promise that I will do my utmost to finish this book. Not only because I want to hone my writing, but also because this is my first book in the truest sense, and I will not allow it to be abandoned.
Good or bad, I will write it to the end. Please be at ease.
Also, by custom, there is usually a burst of extra updates after a book goes on sale, but I have to apologize here. The timing is simply too unfortunate: the book goes on sale today, and my internship also ends today. After that, I still need to take a thirty-six-hour train ride home, so an explosive update schedule over the next two days may be difficult.
All I can guarantee is that I will not stop updating. As for the extra chapters, once I get home, I will work hard at the keyboard and make up for them with a burst of writing. In short, no later than the end of this month, I will definitely put out a major update push, so I ask for your understanding.
I have rambled on for quite a while, so I will not say much more. In the end, it is still the same old request: if you have monthly passes and recommendation votes, please leave a few for me. One is never too few, and a hundred are never too many.
Please support me as much as you can.
